Roddy Martin Supply Chain Excellence Scholarship

In Memoriam: Roddy Martin

We lost one of the supply chain profession’s most prominent thought leaders with the passing of Roddy Martin.  Roddy’s impact was profound across verticals and in driving real operational change to the largest companies in the world.  While he was an evangelist, he landed concrete action oriented transformations.  Throughout his career in the corporate world (SAB, TraceLink), as an analyst (AMR & Gartner), consultant (Accenture, CCI, Deloitte), he accomplished that with the help of colleagues such as yourself.

The respect for Roddy is so large that many of his peers have helped to orchestrate an effort to ensure his contribution lives on through an endowed supply chain scholarship at his alma mater – Pretoria University in South Africa.  The scholarship will provide tuition throughout a selected student’s full academic career, ensuring Roddy’s influence is felt for generations of supply chain professionals to come.

Students enrolled in the applicable Academic programmes at Pretoria are eligible to apply for consideration.

The applicable Academic programmes at Pretoria:

  • BCom Supply Chain Management
  • BComHons Supply Chain Management
  • MPhil Business Management option Supply Chain Management

The University of Pretoria Foundation has a vehicle to accept donations and approved 501c IRS status so that any donation will qualify for U.S. tax deductible status.  Any contribution made through the link below will go specifically to the endowed fund for the Roddy Martin Supply Chain Excellence Scholarship.

Thank you for your support and contribution to honor Roddy’s legacy.
